Analisis sebaran pergerakan mahasiswa kampus Universitas Muslim Indonesia Makassar
Abstract
Identifikasi sebaran pergerakan merupakan tahapan penting dalam
perencanaan dan pemodelan transportasi. Pergerakan mahasiswa di kawasan
pendidikan, khususnya di Kampus Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI), memiliki pola
yang kompleks dan fleksibel. Kajian terhadap hal ini menjadi penting untuk
melakukan perencanaan transportasi internal kampus. Tujuan penelitian adalah
untuk mengetahui karakteristik perjalanan menuju Kampus UMI dan untuk membuat
model sebaran pergerakan menuju Kampus UMI. Penelitian ini menggunakan data
asal dan tujuan pergerakan mahasiswa yang didapatkan dari hasil wawancara. Data
tersebut kemudian ditabulasi mengan Matriks Asal-Tujuan dan menghasilkan peta
desire line. Dalam penyajiannya, matriks dan peta ini terbagi menjadi pergerakan di
dalam kampus dan pergerakan keluar kampus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
pergerakan asal-tujuan eksternal didominasi pada Kecamatan Panakkukang,
Kecamatan Manggala dan Tamalanrea. Sementara untuk pergerakan internal, fokus
pergerakan yang dominan pada fasilitas seperti Masjid Umar Bin Khattab,
Perpustakaan Ustman Bin Affan, dan Koperasi/Kantin. Dari sisi antar-fakultas,
pergerakan didominasi oleh fakultas yang memiliki jumlah mahasiswa yang banyak
dan lokasi yang berdekatan, seperti Fakultas Teknik (FT), Fakultas Teknik Industri
(FTI), dan Fakultas Hukum (FH).
