KLAUSA RELATIF BAHASA INDONESIA: Sebuah Pendekatan Tipologi Sintaksis

Abstract

Abstract: Researchers are interested in the study of language syntax typology. There is one problem in this research, namely how the types of constituents and the structure of Indonesian relative clauses. Words or phrases can affect the presence of relative clauses as expansion clauses. The constituents explained by the relative clauses have a relationship in accordance with the meaning of the constituents. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data source used is native Indonesian speakers. The data of this study are sentences containing relative Indonesian clauses. Data collection techniques used in this study are collaboration techniques with informants and questionnaire techniques. Data analysis method used is the method of sharing with lingual units. The analysis technique of this research uses x-bar theory analysis technique which is to produce a structure of words or phrases to form a tree diagram of the whole sentence and clause. The conclusion of the results of this study is the type of constituents that can be expanded by relative clauses. Then the pattern produced by the construction. The results of this study are expected to update previous research relating to the relative clauses of the Indonesian language.

Abstrak: Peneliti tertarik pada kajian tipologi sintaksis bahasa yang sangat pesat perkembangannya. Terdapat satu permasalahan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu bagaimana jenis konstituen dan struktur klausa relatif bahasa Indonesia. Kata/frasa sangat mempengaruhi hadirnya klausa relatif sebagai klausa perluasan atau penerang konstituen. Konstituen yang diterangkan oleh klausa relatif pastinya terdapat hubungan yang sesuai dengan makna konstituen tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah penutur asli bahasa Indonesia. Data penelitian ini adalah kalimat yang mengandung klausa relatif bahasa Indonesia. Teknik penjaringan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik kerjasama dengan informan dan teknik kuesioner. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode agih dengan alat penentunya satuan lingual. Teknik analisis penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis teori x-bar yaitu menghasilkan sebuah struktur kata/frasa ke dalam diagram pohon dari keseluruhan kalimat/klausa. Serta menggunakan teknik ubah ujud. Kesimpulan hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu jenis konstituen yang dapat diperluas dengan klausa relatif. Serta pola yang dihasilkan oleh konstruksi tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperbarui penelitian sebelumnya yang berkaitan dengan klausa relatif bahasa Indonesia.
