STRATEGI TINDAK TUTUR GURU DENGAN PENDEKATAN ILMIAH DI SMPN SURAKARTA

Abstract

The porpose of this research is to know the politness startegies used by teachers in appliying the scientific approach of 2013 national curriculum. This is pragmatics studies at the classroom context. Method of gathering the data used observation attentively to record the teachers’ and students’ utterances in every step of the classroom activities. The data classified according to Brown-Levinson’s politness strategies. The result of politness strategies used by teachers was dominated by positive politenes with exaggerate the interest, support, and sympathy as much as 195 times (0.55%). This was related to the mesage of 2013 national curriculum.
