SISTEM PEMARKAHAN OBLIK DALAM KLAUSA BAHASA JEPANG

Abstract

This paper discusses the marking system of oblique in Japanese clause. The goal is to know the marking system of oblique in Japanese clause. The concept used in this paper is the oblique concept in Relational Grammar by Blake (1994: 203) states that oblique in current linguistics has been used to refer to all cases of non-core. In Relational Grammar distinction is made between the core relations (subject, direct object and indirect object) and oblique relation (semantic relationships such as, locative and instrumental). The analytical method used, namely distributional method, which is oblique as the research object is an element of the language that becomes determinant (Mahsun, 2007). The data Source extracted from Japanese books both fiction and nonfiction.

          The analysis showed that the marking system of oblique in Japanese clause is determined by its predicates as the center of the clause, besides determined by the types of oblique related to the role of semantic argument. Oblique in Japanese marked by posposisi に (ni), で (de), か ら (kara), と (to), ま で (made), and へ (e) with the following details. instrumental Oblique is marked by particle で (de), locative oblique is marked by particle に (ni), で (de), and ま で (made), actors obliquely is marked by particle に (ni), purpose oblique is marked by particle に (ni) and へ (e), source oblique is marked by particle か ら (kara) and で (de), number oblique is marked by particle で (de), accompanying oblique is marked by に (ni) particles and と (to), toward obliquely is marked by particles に (ni), ni time obliquely is marked by, か ら (kara), and ま で (made), and way oblique is marked by particle に (ni). The most widely marker used isに (ni). The oblique marker in Japanese can not be deleted, because it causes ungrammatical one.
