KESANTUNAN VERBAL BENTUK IMPERATIF DALAM TEKS PIDATO PRESIDEN RI Ir. JOKO WIDODO PADA KONFERENSI NASIONAL FORUM REKTOR INDONESIA DI AUDITORIUM UNY

Abstract

Verbal politeness in spoken and written communication is essential in order to demonstrate the level of courtesy speakers. In addition, the politeness of speakers is a manifestation of his skills in speaking. This study aims to describe and explain the speech verbal utterance of politeness imperative form in the text of the speech by President Ir. Joko Widodo at the National Conference of Indonesian Rectors Forum in the auditorium UNY. This is qualitative research. The research form is descriptive. The research approach was used pragmatic approach by studying the form of verbal utterances containing politeness imperative form. The sampling technique was used purposive sampling. Furthermore, the research methods were noted. The research results were known obtained thirteen speech act of verbal politeness of imperative forms that implies order, request, notice, prohibition, and hope.
