Faizin Faizin, Azis Nur Bambang

In addition to agriculture, tourism became one of primary economic income for communities around Mount
Ciremai, West, Java. Unfortunately, the landscape of West Java has many potential causes to disasters, mainly
landslides. Mapping of disaster susceptibility area is needed as a consideration of tourism planning. The study
was conducted in Gunung Ciremai National Park, Kuningan. Using Geographic Information System tools, five
environmental parameters i.e: slope, land use, elevation, rainfall and lithology, spatially used to build a
landslide susceptibility map by weighted-overlay methods. Then, susceptibility map is overlaid with theĀ  TNGC
areas. The result is a TNGC area with each susceptibility class.
