Larva Black Soldier Fly Sumber Protein Ayam Kampung Super Dengan Pemberian Yoghurt : A Review

Abstract

Larva Black Soldier Fly (BSF) merupakan salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan sebagai sumber protein. Larva BSF mempunyai kandungan protein yang cukup tinggi, yaitu 40-50%. Data tersebut menjadi pertimbangan utama untuk menjadikan larva BSF sebagai sumber protein dalam pakan. Pemberian larva BSF dalam bentuk tepung sudah banyak dilakukan akan tetapi, pemberian ini dapat menurunkan daya cerna pakan dan menurunkan komsumsi. Hal tersebut mendasari dilakukannya modifikasi pemberiaan larva BSF dengan pemberian Yoghurt secara cekok untuk memperbaiki pencernaan lumen usus ayam ayam kampung super. Penulisan review ini dilakukan dengan studi literatur dari berbagai jurnal yang diperoleh dari google cendekia. Melalui narrative review ini diperoleh hasil bahwa tepung larva BSF dapat dijadikan pakan alternatif sumber protein, bagi ayam kampung super. Ransum yang diberikan tepung BSF 15% dapat menurunkan kecernaan protein kasar. Pemberian Yoghurt secara cekok menjadi salah satu solusi untuk meningkatkan kecernaan protein kasar dalam usus halus.
