Era Baru Pendidikan Vokasi : Menuju Merdeka Belajar dan Tantangan Dunia Kerja 4.0

Abstract


Era Revolusi Industri 4.0 merupakan era perindustrian baru yang memuat digitalisasi dan otomasi teknologi. Pendidikan kejuruan dingharuskan untuk beradaptasi dalam menghadapi gejolak perkembangan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kebutuhan pendidikan kejuruan di era Revolusi Industri 4.0 dan bagaimana kebijakan merdeka belajar dapat meningkatkan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) melalui kreativitas dan inovasi. Artikel ini menggunakan metode library research analisis isi (content analysis) yang membahas secara mendalam informasi tertulis dari rentang waktu 2018-2023. Hasil kajian menunjukkan pendidikan kejuruan, melalui konsep merdeka belajar, memainkan peran kunci dalam menjembatani kesenjangan antara lembaga pendidikan dan industri di era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Dengan fokus pada pengembangan keterampilan terapan dan adaptasi teknologi canggih seperti AI, IoT, dan blockchain. Pendidikan kejuruan memastikan lulusan memiliki kompetensi yang relevan dan berinovasi. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya mempersiapkan individu untuk dunia kerja yang dinamis, mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi dan peningkatan kemampuan kerja yang berkelanjutan melalui kolaborasi erat antara institusi pendidikan dan industri.
