PENGARUH PENDEKATAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK BERINTEGRASI ISLAM TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract


Abstract: Mathematics is a subject that is considered difficult for most students because the given material is not associated with everyday life context. As a result, students are not excited when learning mathematics. Therefore, researchers apply a realistic mathematical approach using Islamic integration into mathematics learning. This study is intended to examine the effect of learning mathematics using a realistic mathematical approach with Islamic integration on students’ learning motivation. This study uses one group pre-test - post-test design. In collecting data, the researchers employ motivational instruments through pre-test and post-test. The subjects of this study are students of class VII A in Private Junior High School (SMP) in Surabaya. Data analysis uses t test with 0.05 significance level. If , the difference in the test is not significant or it can be said as no influence. In the contrary, if ,, the difference in the test is significant or it can be said as there is influence. Based on the results,  is 2.666 and  is 1.729 or . So, it can be concluded that there is an influence of learning mathematics using a realistic approach with Islamic integration on students’ learning motivation.
