Abstract

Abstract: This is a quantitative research which aims to determine whether there is an influence of students’ perceptions on mathematics learning outcomes. The population in this study is all students at tenth grade in one of State Vocational Schools in Surabaya. Sample selection is done through simple random sampling. The research instruments consist of students' mathematics perception questionnaires and learning outcomes tests. The obtained data are tested using statistical t test. The result reveals that t-count is 5.15 and it is compared with t-table using significance level up to 0.05. It indicates that t-count > t-table, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, students' perceptions of mathematics learning have a significant influence on learning outcomes.
