KONSTRUKSI MASYARAKAT TENTANG HIDUP TANPA ANAK SETELAH MENIKAH

Tiara Hanandita

Abstract

The main problem discussed in this article is to examine people's opinions about living without children after marriage through the construction that is formed in the community. This research was conducted because Indonesia is a pronatalist country, while the decision not to have children is a contradiction or something that is considered deviant. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews. In the field, data is obtained that the decision not to have children is a form of habitualization in society. Couples who have passed the stage of marriage, then the next stage is to have children. This habitualization is in line with the Construction Theory proposed by Peter L. Berger.
