RUMAH TUA : MEMORI RUMAH TUA DAN NARASI PULANG KOMUNITAS ADAT SILA
Abstract
The existence of rumah tua in the lives of Moluccan people is not only understood physically but also to what they believe in the house. The rumah tua is believed to be a place to live that can provide collective memory regarding the existence of ancestors as parents who present and give life to posterity from one lineage. This writing aims to explore the symbol of rumah tua as a living narrative of the people of Basudara, the indigenous community of Sila, Central Maluku, which focuses on rumah tua as a heritage house from generation to generation is a memory machine that builds social relations in the indigenous Sila community, Central Maluku. The method used is a qualitative research method with interviews with several Sila indigenous community members who live and care for rumah tua. Based on the data obtained, the authors found three values that can be useful for building a shared life, namely the value of memory, the value of the old house and the value of the narrative going home.

Abstrak
Eksistensi rumah tua dalam kehidupan orang Maluku tidak hanya dipahami secara fisik melainkan lebih kepada apa yang mereka yakini dari rumah tersebut. Rumah tua diyakini sebagai tempat tinggal yang dapat memberi ingatan kolektif terkait keberadaan para leluhur sebagai orang tua yang hadir dan memberi kehidupan bagi anak cucu dari satu garis keturunan. Penulisan ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi simbol rumah tua sebagai narasi hidup orang basudara komunitas adat Sila, Maluku Tengah yang berfokus pada rumah tua sebagai rumah warisan dari generasi ke generasi menjadi mesin memori yang membangun relasi sosial di komunitas adat Sila, Maluku Tengah. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara terhadap beberapa masyarakat komunitas adat Sila yang tinggal dan merawat rumah tua. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, penulis menemukan tiga nilai yang dapat berguna untuk membangun kehidupan bersama, yakni nilai memori, nilai rumah tua dan nilai narasi pulang.
