UPAYA PENGENTASAN KEMISKINAN BURUH GENTENG MELALUI KEGIATAN PEMBERDAYAAN BERBASIS PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT
Abstract
The main object of the research is roof-tile workers who work in roof-tile industrial in Kebulusan Village. This research aims to comprehend the characteristics of roof-tile worker in Kebulusan Village, to describe the efforts of Kebulusan Village Goverment and BAPERMADES of Kebumen Disctrict in empowering the activities based community participation, and to identify the supporting factor and inhibiting factor from empowerment activities based participation. The theory used in this research is AGIL (Adaptation, Goal Attainment, Integration, Latency) Theory by Talcott Parsons. The method used is qualitative research with case study approach. The sample was taken with Purposive Sampling Technique. The data were collected by observation, in-depth interview and documentation. To validate the data, source triangulation was used. The data then analized using an interactive model analysis. From the results of research, it can be concluded that there were 4 empowerment activities conducted in Kebulusan Village, they were: land utilization activities, blumbang utilization activities, skills training, and P2MKM program. All the empowerment activities in Kebulusan Village in 2015 not have involved communities, both men and women. The women has busy for home activities and keep their child.
