PENGEMBANGAN KAWASAN KHUSUS TERPADU DI KABUPATEN PONOROGO

Abstract

This study aims to formulate strategies to develop integrated specific zone in Ponorogo regency. This research employed qualitative approach. Data were collected using sveeral techniques including site observation, document study, and interview. This research used interactive analysis. Results indicate that the area needs integrated zone planning to develop regional resources to facilitate various activities which intend to perform healthy and prosperous community of the Ponorogo regency. The result of the study is expected to become one of guides to develop integrated specific zone in Ponorogo regency. Conceptually, the integrated specific zone can be used as a landscape in order that the area can be projected as a town forest with the following land use, 10% as main entrance, 60% as conservation area, 10% as economic zone, and 20% as socio-cultural area. Similarly, the area which is planned to be specific zone has main theme as the town forest zone to support the ecology. The plan to use the land in the integrated specific zone includes the function to be the main entrance zone and the reception area, the conservation zone, the economic zone, and the activities zone.
