Abstract

The purpose ofthis study was to determine the factors that influence the production ofscallionandseetheacceptance,incomeandprofitoftheaveragescallionfarmerinTawangmangu District. Leaf onion plants are included in the horticultural subsector cropsthat are potential to be cultivated intensively. The type of research is a case study usingquantitativedescriptivemethods.Themethodofdeterminingthesamplebymeansofproportional random sampling. Data analysis methods using cost analysis, revenue, income,and profit scallion on farming and cobb douglas analysis approach with multiple linearregression analysis using SPSS. The results of this study showed that the average revenue,income, and farm profits of scallion farmers in Tawangmangu District with an average landarea of 0.104 hectares sequentially amounted to IDR 18,727,927.00 / MT, IDR 9,413,073.00 /MT and IDR 7,986,282.00 / MT. The factors of land area, labor, nitrogen fertilizer, andpotassiumfertilizerindividuallysignificantlyaffecttheproductionofscallioninTawangmangu Subdistrict. While the factors of farmer age and pesticides individually do notsignificantly affecttheproductionofscallioninTawangmangusub-distric.
