IDENTIFIKASI KINERJA SUBSEKTOR TANAMAN PANGAN, HORTIKULTURA, PERKEBUNAN, PETERNAKAN, DAN JASA PERTANIAN DALAM PEMBANGUNAN PEREKONOMIAN DI KABUPATEN TULUNGAGUNG

Abstract

This study intends to classify and recognize the performance of agriculture, plantation, farm, and agricultural services subsector of Tulungagung regency in 2014 to 2019. This research implement the descriptive methods. The location decided purposively in Tulungagung Regency. The methods are Location Quotient, Delta Location Quotient, and Shift Share analysis. The result shows subsector as stars category are food crops, plantation crops, farm subsector, and agricultural services subsector. Horticultural crops subsector classified to mature category. All the subsector show slow economic growth. Plantation crops subsector, farm, and agricultural services have a good competitive advantage in East Java Province. Food crops subsector and horticultural crops subsector have no competitive advantage in East Java Province. The most superior subsectors are plantation crops, farm, and agricultural services whis is stars and have competitive advantage despite their slow growth. Food crops subsector categorized as stars but have no competitive advantage and growing slow. The weakest subsector is horticultural crops as mature category with competitive advantage and slow growth.
