ANALISIS KETAHANAN PANGAN RUMAH TANGGA PETANI PADI BERDASARKAN PROPORSI PENGELUARAN PANGAN DAN KONSUMSI ENERGI DI KECAMATAN CAWAS KABUPATEN KLATEN

Abstract

Food security is a condition of household food needs influenced by two indicators, namely the proportion of food expenditure and the level of energy consumption. In 2021 the rice sufficiency rate in Cawas District is a deficit. This is supported by a decrease in per capita income and nutritional consumption which is not yet above the national average nutritional consumption. The basic method is descriptive method with survey research techniques. The research location is in Cawas District, Klaten Regency. Sampling was done by simple random sampling totaling 30 respondents of rice farmer households. Data analysis uses quantitative data analysis including analysis of household income and expenditure, proportion of food expenditure to total household expenditure, household food consumption, and household food security of rice farmers. The results showed that in Cawas District, Klaten Regency, the proportion of food expenditure to rice farmers' household expenditure was 55% or IDR. 1,039,383.00 of the total expenditure of IDR. 1,899,621.00. The average energy and protein consumption of rice farmers' households was 1,786 kcal/person/day and 82 grams/person/day, respectively, the levels of energy and protein consumption were 87% and 132%. The condition of food security of rice farmers households is mostly food insecure where 53.33% or 16 households are classified as food insecure, 20.00% or six households are food insecure and 26.66% or 8 households are food insecure.
