ANALISIS KETAHANAN PANGAN RUMAH TANGGA PETANI BERDASARKAN PROPORSI PENGELUARAN DAN KONSUMSI ENERGI DI DAS SAMIN KABUPATEN KARANGANYAR

Abstract

This study aims to determine the amount of household income and expenditure, the proportion of household food expenditure, the level of household energy adequacy, the relationship between the proportion of food expenditure and the level of household energy adequacy, the condition of food security of rice farmers' households in the Samin watershed, Karanganyar Regency. The basic research method is descriptive analytical and implementation with survey techniques. The location determination was carried out intentionally (purposive sampling. The data analysis used is the analysis of household income and expenditure, the analysis of the proportion of household food expenditure, the analysis of the level of household energy adequacy, the analysis of the correlation between the proportion of food expenditure and the level of energy sufficiency, and the analysis of household food security. The results showed that the average household income of rice farmers in the Samin watershed, Karanganyar Regency is IDR 1,793,040/month. The total expenditure of rice farming households is IDR 1,679,632/month which consists of food expenditure of IDR 1,044,360/month and non-food expenditure of IDR 635,272/month. The proportion of food expenditure is 62.18% of total expenditure. The average energy adequacy level of rice farmers' households in the Samin watershed Karanganyar Regency is 86.59% which is included in the medium category. The proportion of food expenditure with the level of energy sufficiency has a significant relationship with the value of the correlation coefficient is -0.425. The condition of food security of rice farmers' households in the Samin watershed, Karanganyar Regency is 42% food insecurity, 28% food security, 18% food insecurity, and 12% lack of food.
