OPTIMALISASI PRODUKSI PADI DI KAWASAN KARST (STUDI KASUS : KECAMATAN PONJONG KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL)
Abstract
Abstract : This research aims to analyze the cost of farming, identify the use of production factors, know the level of optimization of the use of production inputs and know the obstacles in increasing rice production in Ponjong District of Gunungkidul Regency. The data analysis methods used in this study are, cost analysis, analysis of production functions, optimization analysis and technic ranking garret analysis. The results showed that the average cost of rice farming production in the third growing season was IDR 15,526,748.83 per ha. Factors that positively affect rice production in karst area Ponjong Subdistrict, Gunungkidul district are phonska fertilizer, pesticides and land area, while urea fertilizer, KCl fertilizer, manure fertilizer, seedlings and labor do not have a positive effect on rice production in karst area Ponjong Subdistrict, Gunungkidul district. The level of optimization of input use in rice production in Ponjong Subdistrict, Gunungkidul district is not optimal. The production constraints experienced by respondent farmers are fertilizer production factors and land area. It is concluded that the amount of rice farming receipts amounted to IDR 34,628,897.86 per ha and income amounted to IDR 19.102.149,03 per ha. In the production factor of phonska fertilizer, pesticides, and land area have a positive effect on rice production. The level of optimization of the use of phonska fertilizer and land area has not been optimal. Production constraints that rank 1st and 2nd are fertilizer and land area.
