Abstract

ABSTRACT : This study aims to determine the feasibility of dairy goat breeding business based on market aspects, technical aspects, management aspects, environmental aspects, financial aspects and business sensitivity. The basic method of this research is descriptive with case study technique. The location of the study was determined intentionally in Candirejo Village Rt 3 Rw 3 Candirejo Village, West Ungaran District, Semarang Regency. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Analysis of market aspect data, technical aspect, management aspect, and environmental aspect is done by descriptive method. While the analysis of financial aspects data used the eligibility criteria: Payback period, NPV, IRR, Net B / C, Gross B / C, and sensitivity analysis. The results showed: (1) dairy goat breeding business based on market aspect, technical aspect, management aspect and environmental aspect is feasible. (2) Financial aspect analysis shows that it is feasible to run with project age of 5 years with 12% discount rate  and inflation rate of 5.43% / year. NPV value of IDR 759,719,427.00 IRR value of 60.45%, net B / C 2.50, Gross B / C of 1.64 and PP for 1.83 years. (3) Sensitivity analysis indicates a maximum limit of 9% cost increase. Maximum feed cost increase is 123%. While the maximum limit of goat milk price decline is 28.9%, assuming other costs are fixed.
