Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research aimed to determine the level of efficiency and investment needs as well as supporting investment policies on agricultural sector in Central Java Province. The basic method used in this research was descriptive analysis. Location of the research was determined purposively, that is Central Java Province. Data used were secondary data. Data analysis used Incremental Capital Output Ratio (ICOR) analysis. The results showed that the level of investment efficiency on agricultural sector in Central Java Province was classified as very efficient with an ICOR value range of 0,010,39. Meanwhile, the estimation of total investment needs for the 2019 projection showed that the amounts of investment needed to achieve the economic growth target of agricultural sector in Central Java Province were Rp. 4,86 – 7,64 trillion on the pessimistic scenario, Rp. 2,74 – 4,31 trillion on the moderate scenario, and Rp. 124,65 – 195,88 billion on the optimistic scenario. Whereas, some policies carried out by the local government of Central Java Province in supporting the entry of investment on agricultural sector in general were providing an easy licensing through the One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP), Accelerating the Business Implementation (Ease of Doing Business), and improving a conducive investment climate.
