IMPLEMENTASI BALANCED SCORECARD DALAM MENGUKUR KINERJA PT. PERKEBUNAN NUSANTARA IX KEBUN GETAS

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study aims to measure the performance of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IX Kebun Getas by using a balanced scorecard, and identifying issues related to company performance and providing recommendations for those problems. The basic method of research is descriptive and analytical. The study was conducted at PTPN IX Kebun Getas. The data used are primary data and secondary data from the company's 2017 report, data collection techniques are carried out by interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was performed using the balanced scorecard method including determining the measurement criteria in the company, measuring company performance, reviewing company problems, and providing recommendations on company problems. The results of the study showed: the measurement criteria used in the study were the cost efficiency of rubber production, and the efficiency of the cost of coffee production; customer complaints; the amount of rubber production, the amount of coffee production, rubber productivity, coffee productivity, RSS quality, green bean quality; and employee satisfaction. The results of the PTPN IX Getas Gardens performance measurement with the balanced scorecard are less with a score of -0.3. The results of the identification of problems in PTPN IX Kebun Getas are inefficient rubber production costs, many old rubber trees, clones in rubber plantations are not in accordance with the environmental conditions of PTPN IX Kebun Getas, seasons that do not support coffee plants for fruiting, and latex quality from the garden is not good. The recommendations given are evaluating the rubber production process, rejuvenating rubber trees, selecting clones with high productivity, selecting high productivity coffee seeds, injecting new technology, and improving the quality of latex production
