ANALISIS EFISIENSI PEMASARAN KACANG METE DI KECAMATAN JATISRONO KABUPATEN WONOGIRI

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study aims to (1) Identify the marketing channel pattern of cashews, (2) Identify the duties and functions of cashews marketing agency, (3) Identify the amount of costs, profits and margins of cashews, (4) Identify the level of marketing efficiency of cashews in Jatisrono District, Wonogiri Regency. The location was chosen purposively, namely in Sumberejo Village, jatisrono Subdistrict. The data was analyzed with analysis of costs, margins, and marketing benefits as well as marketing efficiency. The results of the study shows that : (1) There are three marketing channels for cashews. (2) Farmers and marketing institutions carry out marketing duties and functions, namely transaction, physical and facility functions. (3)  The  total  cost  of  marketing  channel  I  is  IDR  5,961.73  /  kg,  profit  is  IDR 9,492.19 / kg, and marketing margin of IDR 14,800.00. The total marketing channel II cost is IDR 2,979.98 / kg, profit is IDR 7,082.86 / kg, marketing margin is IDR 8,833.33. The total cost of marketing channel III is IDR 2,270.00 / kg, profit is IDR 2,462.50 / kg, and the marketing margin is IDR 3,000. (4) Marketing channel III is the most efficient with a farmer's share value of 88.89%.
