PERAN SEKTOR PERTANIAN, KEHUTANAN, DAN PERIKANAN TERHADAP DISTRIBUSI PENDAPATAN DI KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL

Abstract

This research was conducted in January 2019 which aims to determine the role of the agricultural, forestry and fisheries sectors in Gunungkidul Regency. The basic method of this research is descriptive. Determination of research area and sampling using the intentionally method. The data were analyzed using the Williamson Index and Location Quotient (LQ). The result proved that agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors in Gunungkidul District have a role in reducing income inequality. Based on the value of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) per capita, there are 4 subdistricts that have a lower GRDP per capita compared to the GRDP per capita of Gunungkidul Regency such as Saptosari Subdistrict, Wonosari Subdistrict, Playen Subdistrict, and Ngawen Subdistrict. With the existence of subdistricts that have GRDP below the average, this researh focuses on finding out the Star subsector in the targeted subdistrict. Star subsectors in targeted subdistrict are horticulture crop, plantation crop, livestock subsector, and agricultural services and hunting subsector.
