ANALISIS EFISIENSI PENGGUNAAN FAKTOR PRODUKSI PADI HITAM DI KABUPATEN KARANGANYAR

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine (1) the production factors that influence black rice farming and         (2) the efficiency of black rice farming in Karanganyar Regency. The basic method in this study is an analytic descriptive method with survey techniques. The research location was determined intentionally in Karanganyar Regency with the consideration that the agricultural sector was used as a leading sector in the economy, rice was the largest food crop production, and black rice was being developed. The sampling method uses Snowball Sampling. The number of respondents in this study were 30 respondents. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and recording. Data analysis using multiple linear regression with Cobb Douglass production function model. The results showed that (1) production factors that significantly affected black rice farming were seeds, stable fertilizer, land tenure and use of chemical fertilizers while labor production factors, planting systems and planting seasons had no significant effect, (2) black rice farming in Karanganyar Regency is not yet efficient.
