Abstract

ABSTRACT : This research aims to determine the competitive position of mushroom planting business (baglog) mushroom in Alas Jamur compared to its main competitors; Identifying internal and external factors; Formulate alternative strategies and determine the right competitive strategy priorities to apply Alas Jamur. The basic method of this research is analytical descriptive with case study technique. Research location in Alas Jamur Polokarto, Polokarto, Sukoharjo District. Data analysis tools used are CPM, IFE, EFE, SWOT Matrix, and QSPM. The results showed that based on CPM analysis baglog business mushrooms Alas Jamur (3,050) occupies the first position compared to competitors. This study also successfully identified the internal conditions and external conditions that affect the ability to compete Alas Jamur. Based on the above three formulation strategies are formulated using SWOT Matrix, which is to make sales promotion and advertising products through online media along with human resource training to improve the quality of human resources to facilitate promotional activities; maintain and improve baglog quality; producers work with other baglog entrepreneurs to meet market demand. Priority of strategy based on QSPM obtained score of 6,4848 is Do promotion of sales and advertising product through online with human resource training to improve quality of human resources to facilitate promotion activities.
