STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN SUBSEKTOR PERTANIAN, KEHUTANAN, DAN PERIKANAN DI KABUPATEN PURBALINGGA DENGAN PENDEKATAN TIPOLOGI KLASSEN DAN ANALISIS SWOT

Abstract

Abstract :This study aims to classify the sub-sectors of agriculture, forestry and fisheries in Purbalingga Regency and formulate development strategies of the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sub-sectors which are classified as prime. The method used in this study is descriptive. The research location is in Purbalingga Regency. Analysis of the data used consists of (1) Klassen typology (2) SWOT analysis. The results of research using the Klassen Typology show that the classification of the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sub-sectors in Purbalingga Regency consists of four classifications, namely the prime sub-sectors of plantations and livestock; potential sub-sectors, namely food crops and horticultural crops; developing sub-sector of agricultural services and hunting and fisheries; backward sub-sector of forestry and logging. Alternative strategies for the plantation sub-sector are increasing production, expanding marketing, opening access to capital, training in yield processing, optimizing counseling, improving institutional farmer groups and opening market access. Alternative development strategies for the livestock sub-sector include accelerating productivity, developing marketing and promotion, capital access, training in yield processing, improving animal health, developing nursery businesses, and livestock growth substance innovation.
