EFISIENSI PEMASARAN IKAN LELE DIKECAMATAN SAWIT KABUPATEN BOYOLALI
Abstract
Abstract : This research were aimed to know the pattern of catfish’s marketing channel; the duties and functions of marketing institution; the cost, profit, marketing margin; and marketing efficiency in Sawit district Boyolali Regency. The respondents in this research were determined using stratified random sampling (farmers) and snowball sampling (traders). The data was analized using cost margin analysis with direct approach. The result showed that there were four patterns of catfish’s marketing channel in Sawit district Boyolali Regency. The pattern of Channel I: Farmers→Big Traders outside area. The pattern of Channel II: Farmers→Collect Traders→Big Traders outside area. The pattern of Channel III: Farmers→Retailers→Consuments. The pattern of Channel IV: Farmers→Collect Traders→Retailers→Consuments. Most of marketing function were transaction, physicand facility. The four marketing channels were efficient, but the most efficient marketing channel was Channel I because it had the lowest efficiency margin (12,24%) and the highest farmer’s share (87,76%).
