PERSEPSI PETANI TERHADAP KARAKTERISTIK INOVASI TRANSPLANTER SEBAGAI MESIN TANAM PADI SAWAH DI KECAMATAN COLOMADU KABUPATEN KARANGANYAR

Abstract

ABSTRACT : This study aims to Know the factors that affect farmers against Transplanter characteristics, analyze the perceptions of farmers and analyze the relationship between the factors - factors that influence and perception of farmers on their Colomadu Transplanter in the district of Karanganyar. The basic method of quantitative research with survey techniques. The research location is in District Colomadu, Karanganyar, Determining the location of intentionally (purposive). Data obtained by questionnaire to 60 respondents through observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis of the data used is rums interval and Spearman Rank Correlation. The results showed that the perception of the determining factors: age, provision of information, formal education, non-formal education in the medium category, farming experience in the category is quite high, the income of farmers in the high category, and cultural influences in the low category. Farmers have a fairly good perception on the relative advantage (relative advantage), complexity of use (complexity), the results of which can be observed (observability). the level of ease for a try (triability) and both categories in conformity (compatibility), there is a significant relationship between formal education and the provision of information, at the 90% confidence level. There is no significant relationship between, age, non-formal education, income, farming experience and cultural influences on the characteristics of the planting machinery Transplanter technology.
