ANALISIS USAHA DAN RISIKO PADA USAHA TERNAK ITIK PETELUR DI KECAMATAN KEDAWUNG KABUPATEN SRAGEN

Abstract

duck business risk faced by laying duck farmers in the District Kedawung of Sragen. The basic method of this research is descriptive analyze. The research location determinate by purposive in District Kedawung because this district has a population of ducks and duck egg production in Sragen. The result of this research show in a population of 760 laying duck the cost in the maintenance period 12 months is Rp 299,513,004.34, revenue in the maintenance period 12 months is Rp 377,689,565.22, income in the maintenance period 12 months is Rp 78,176,560.87. Income in one month is Rp 6,514,713.41 belonging to high income. Laying duck business efficiency with the approach of R/C ratio showed 1,25. Business risks analysis showed CV value of 0.51> 0.5 with a lower limit value (L) -1,375,606.99 means that the laying duck farmers will likely experience a loss of Rp 1,375,606.99 in the maintenance period. Business risks include the production risk and price risk. Suggestion: feed costs are large can be reduced through training and collaboration with universities or institutions that are competent in the manufacture of feed, egg production is less than the maximum in the rainy season can be circumvented by the use of tarps on the enclosure so as to prevent cold air and rain water into the cage, training and counseling can be done so that farmers understand better maintenance procedures duck as well.
