PERSEPSI PETANI TERHADAP PENGEMBANGAN SYSTEM OF RICE INTENSIFICATION (SRI) DI KECAMATAN MOGA KABUPATEN PEMALANG
Abstract
Abstract:This study aims to examine the factors forming the perception of farmers towards the development of SRI, examines the perception of farmers towards the development of SRI and examine the relationship between the factors forming the perception and perception of farmers towards the development of SRI. The basic method of research is descriptive method. Location studies in the District Moga Pemalang for SRI development program being pursued by the Agricultural Extension Agency since 2012. The data used are primary and secondary data. Analysis of the data used are the width of the interval, Spearman rank correlation test and t test. Factors forming the perception in the study were age, formal education, non-formal education, experience farming, land use, mass media and social environment. The results showed the perception of farmers are in either category in terms of its goals and is good enough on aspects of implementation and benefits. Based on the analysis Rank Spearman and t test, there is a significant correlation between non-formal education to the perception of farmers towards the development of SRI. There is a significant relationship between social environment with the perception of farmers towards the development of SRI. There is no significant relationship between age, formal education, experience farming, land use, and keterpaan mass media with the perception of farmers towards the development of SRI.
