ANALISIS KOMPARATIF USAHATANI JAMUR TIRAM PADA DATARAN TINGGI DAN DATARAN RENDAH DI KABUPATEN KARANGANYAR

Abstract

Abstract: Oyster mushrooms can be found throughout the year in the forest, in the cool temperate mountain areas and grow on logs of rotten wood. The rise of the oyster mushroom farm, located in the lowlands raises questions about how profitable the farm compared with those located on the plateau which is actually a natural habitat. This study aimed to determine and compare the oyster mushroom farm in the highlands and lowlands in Karanganyar. This research method is descriptive analytical method. The analytical method used includes the analysis of costs, benefits, efficiency, and profitability, as well as using t-test to determine whether there is a difference between the two farming statistically. The results showed that the cost of oyster mushroom farm in the highlands is Rp 2,563,485, - per month less than the lowlands in the amount of Rp 3,163,383, - per month. Advantages of oyster mushroom farm in the highlands is Rp 463 599, - per month less than the lowlands in the amount of Rp 1,425,189, - per month. Oyster mushroom farming efficiency in the plateau is 1.17, smaller than the lowlands is 1.45 and the profitability of oyster mushroom farm in the highlands is 0.17 smaller than the lowlands that is equal to 0.45.
