SIKAP PENGRAJIN GULA KELAPA TERHADAP SUB TERMINAL AGRIBISNIS (STA) (KASUS DI DESA KRENDETAN KECAMATAN BAGELEN KABUPATEN PURWOREJO)

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the attitude of coconut sugar producers towards STA, the forming factors of attitude, and the relationship between the forming factors of attitude and attitude of coconut sugar producers towards STA. The location of study was determined intentionally (purposive) in Krendetan Village, Bagelen Subdistric, Purworejo Regency because Krendetan Village was the administrative village location of STA. The sampling method was census sampling with 62 coconut sugar producers as samples. To determine the attitude and the forming factors of attitude used interval width and to determine the relationship between the attitude forming factors and the attitude of coconut sugar producers towards STA was using Rank Spearman (rs). The results showed that the attitudesof coconut sugar producers towards STA among individuals vary, but generally classified as bad. While the forming factors of attitudes, cultures classified as quite, mass media exposure is relatively very low, personal experience is relatively very low, the influence of others that are considered important classified as very low, relatively low formal education and non-formal education as very low. Based on Rank Spearman correlation test, showed that there was a significant relationship between exposure to mass media, the influence of others that are considered important, formal education and non-formal education with an attitude coconut sugar producers towards STA. Meanwhile, cultures and personal experience had a non-significant relationship with attitude of coconut sugar producers towards STA.
