Abstract


This study aims to determine the optimal performance of teachers through increased teacher
motivation, discipline and working environment in learning activities at SLB-CG YPPCG Bina
Sejahtera Surakarta and managerial implications on the influence of teacher motivation, Labor
discipline to improving the performance of teachers in SLB-CG YPPCG Bina Sejahtera Surakarta.
The population in this study were teachers SLB-CG YPPCG Bina Sejahtera Surakarta with 10
samples. The analysis consists of analyzing the stages of Educational Action Research, test
instruments, test paired sample t-test and multiple linear regression test consists of t test, F test and the
coefficient of determination (R2).
The results of the regression equation showed that: There was a significant difference between
the value pretest before the understanding of the motivation and discipline of work to the value of
post test value after the understanding of motivation and discipline. This means there is impact on
teacher performance on understanding the motivation and discipline of work. The motivation of
teachers significantly influence the performance of teachers in SLB-CG YPPCG Bina Sejahtera
Surakarta. Labor discipline was not make significant effect on the performance of teachers in SLBCG
YPPCG Bina Sejahtera Surakarta.
