PENGARUH METODE COLLABORATIVE LEARNING ASSESSMENT THROUGH DIALOGUE (CLAD) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN ANAK TUNARUNGU DI SURAKARTA
Abstract
Human able to speak when they first learn is hearing. Through hearing sense, human receives various information will be process by brain. Furthermore, human give response toward the information by movement, voice or speak. The disturbance or impairment toward hearing sense of will be impact into the capability of person to receive information and communication. This problem would be happen to person with hearing impairment, who has limited or loss in their capability of hearing.
Based from background study, person with hearing impairment will have obstacle experience in receiving information and communication. Person with hearing impairment will have difficulties in understanding and communicating the meaning of the word or sentence. Besides, the word and sentence is main media in process of communication. Failure in understanding the meaning by the teacher, make the purpose of education will be difficult to reach it.
The purpose of research is to increase capability of reading comprehension of hearing impairment with Collaborative Learning Assessment through Dialogue (CLAD) method. Research was using Matching-Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design, as apparent experiment design. Subject of research divided into experiment group and control group. The Data of research will be analyze by statistic analysis non parametric Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test.
Based from the result of analysis, The data was obtained is score Z is 2,0318 with the probability is 0,0419. Because the score of probability Z is smaller than error probability 5 % (α = 0,05).The conclusion is children with hearing impairment who got the learning with CLAD method have significant increase.
