Abstract


ABTRACTS

The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes material science and life processes of living beings through Jigsaw cooperative approach in class IX C SLB Bina Putra Salatiga school year 2014/2015.

This research is a classroom action research (PTK). The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects were students of class IX C SLB Bina Putra Salatiga, amounting to 8 students. Data collection techniques is to documentation, testing, observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data using triangulation techniques methods. Analysis of data using qualitative descriptive analysis technique. Research procedures are interrelated spiral model.

The results showed that the average value of the initial conditions completenses 25% 43.75, 61.25 completencess cycle I and cycle II 37.50% clasical completeness 75 value reaches 75%. Through the application of jigsaw cooperative approach can improve learning outcomes IPA living matter and processes of life for students Tunagrahita Class IX C SLB Bina Putra Salatiga academic year 2014 / 2015.Proses learning at pre-cycle science teaching in the classroom for children with intellectual challenges have not used the example simple example , not to use props and cooperative learning model, so the low learning outcomes. The increase occurred in cycle I. Activity learning and increased student learning outcomes walaupan not optimal.Pelaksanaan second cycle causing activity and increased student learning outcomes to be high so that it can support a quality learning.

The conclusions of this research is through Jigsaw cooperative approach can improve learning outcomes IPA living matter and processes of life for students of classes IX C SLB Bina Putra Salatiga school year 2014/2015.
