PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DENGAN MENGIMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM MICROSOFT EXCEL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN ADMINISTRASI KEPEGAWAIAN DI SMK NEGERI 1 SURAKARTA

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the improvement of
learning activeness and the result of the students class XI AP 1 on the
staffing administration subject in SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta through the
application learning model of problem based learning by
implementing microsoft excel program. The type of research
conducted by the researchers is the Classroom Action Research
(CAR). The subject of this research is the students of class XI AP 1
SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta academic year 2014/2015 that amounted to
32 students. This research was carried out by involving teachers of
staffing administration subject, researchers and the participation of
students. The technique of data collection was done through several
activities such as: (a) observation, (b) interview, (c) test, and (d)
documentation. The research procedures are: (a) planning, (b)
implementation, (c) observation and interpretation, and (d) analysis
and reflection. The results of the research show that the application
learning model of problem based learning by implementing microsoft
excel program can improve learning activeness and the result of the
students. The learning activeness and the result of the students are
improving significantly as indicated in cycles I and II. Prior to the the
application learning model of problem based learning by
implementing microsoft excel program, the class average score is
76,59 (53,13%). The visual activities, oral activities, listening
activities and writing activities all of which reflect the activeness of
the students in the learning process, are 42,97%, 39,06%, 44,53% and
53,91% respectively. In cycle I, the class average score, which reflects
the result of the students improves to 79,84 (78,13%), and the visual
activities, oral activities, listening activities and writing activities also
improve to 75,56%, 78,13%, 75%, and 75,78% respectively. In cycle
II, the class average score, which reflects the result of the students
improves to 85,84 (90,63%), and the visual activities, oral activities,
listening activities and writing activities also improve to 86,72%,
85,16%, 80,47%, and 83,59% respectively. Thus, a conclusion can be
drawn that the application learning model of problem based learning
by implementing microsoft excel program can improve learning activeness and the result of the students with staffing administration subject.
